Bob Zink, CPA

Bob Zink, CPA, Member, joined the Firm in October 1999 after 17 years with Ernst & Young. Bob is the principal in charge of the Firm's audit group and, as such, is responsible for coordinating and supervising the delivery of the Firm's audit and attestation services to hedge funds, commodity pools, investment advisors, commodity trading advisors, introducing brokers and brokers and dealers.  With extensive SEC, GAAP and statutory reporting experience, Bob also serves as the Firm's Accounting and Auditing Technical Coordinator.  Bob has over 25 years of financial services industry experience including extensive experience in serving the alternative investments industry, as well as banks and insurance companies.  Bob has participated in and managed a variety of audit and attestation engagements for clients in the alternative investments industry including annual audits, performance capsule examinations, SAS#70 examinations of commodity pool operators and administrators, as well as consulting on the formation and design of alternative investment entities.

Bob is a graduate of Loyola College of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting.  Bob is a member of the Managed Funds Association, serves on its Communications Committee, and is a frequent contributor to the MFA Reporter.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.  Bob is licensed in Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.
