Audit Managers oversee multiple engagements and are responsible for effectively coordinating client services; managing the audit team and managing client relationships. Such responsibilities include the following:
- Defining and planning the risk analysis, audit strategy and audit timeline
- Setting budgets, assigning staff and delegating work successfully
- Monitoring the engagement progress against the plan and altering if necessary
- Reviewing audit documentation and drafting financial statements
- Researching and resolving technical accounting, audit and regulatory issues
- Assisting in the delivery of proposals for engagements and knowing the range of firm services
Managers develop and motivate all engagement staff and provide them with career counseling and guidance. They are directly involved in training the professional staff as well as conducting timely performance reviews and providing performance feedback/training.
Ideal candidates will have 6 or more years of public accounting audit experience and a CPA license. Prior experience in financial services is preferred, but not required. Successful candidates will have excellent project management skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills and a dedication to teamwork, leadership and high ethical standards.

Audit Seniors are responsible for coordinating and performing auditing procedures as well as supervising and developing staff. They assist in designing the approach to the audits and effectively managing existing client relationships to enhance client satisfaction. Seniors report to, and receive instruction from, Audit Managers, Directors and Members of the Firm. As experience and proficiency is gained, Senior Accountants are expected to undertake more complex assignments and manage greater client and staff responsibilities.
Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of public accounting audit experience. Licensed CPAs or CPA candidates are preferred. Prior experience in financial services is preferred, but not required. Successful candidates will have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
